Living with these kinds of illnesses changes you as a person. It's been a difficult journey, but I believe it's been a strengthening one. I am in no way perfect, nor have a perfect attitude, but I think these challenges are going to do some good for me.
I love getting in touch with people dealing

I can’t help but laugh at it though. But seriously!! This was just the weirdest set of events!! The other day I was cleaning out my ear and I noticed a some dried blood in it. My mom took me to the doctor and discovered I had some how cut the inside of it, and got infected with cellulitis. It wouldn’t have gotten so bad if it wasnt for the whole weak immune system thing, so he wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic. Two days later I had horrible pain in my back and started throwing up, so I went to the ER. They said it sounded like a kidney stone (which the antibiotic was known to cause) but the CT scan didnt show anything, so if there was one it was it could be passed on its own. They said I had a slight UTI too. I went home, the neck day feeling HORRIBLE. I had a fever, a weird rash everywhere, an awful headache, and a really stiff neck. Two days later I went BACK to the Emergency room where they thought I had meningitis. They gave me a spinal tap, where they discovered I have slight scoliosis. (I had NO idea) They had to stick me like 5 times because they couldnt find a good spot, and it was awful. The test was clean. It turns out I was allergic to the friggin antibiotics!! So they sent me home with new meds, and it’s been 3 days since the spinal tap. I still have horrible back pain and a pressure headache when I sit up, but the UTI is starting to clear up too.
All of this because of an ear infection.
